Keep Your Account, Delete Your Data

If you prefer to keep your account active but want to delete some or all of your personal data, you can submit a data deletion request. This option gives you more control over your information without requiring you to delete your account entirely.

What Data Can Be Deleted

You can request deletion of:

• Profile Information: Profile photo, bio, and personal preferences.
• Location History: Historical location data associated with your account (except where legally required to retain).
• Communication Records: Chat messages and support communications (archived chats may take up to 30 days to delete).
• Device Information: Device identifiers and technical data.

What Data Will Be Retained

For legal and operational reasons, we will retain:

• Transaction records and order history (7-year retention per Zambian law)
• Payment information linked to your wallet (for payout purposes)
• Verification data for Shoppers (NRC details for compliance)

Processing Timeline

Your data deletion request will be processed within 30 days of submission. We will send you a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
